Marquette man sentenced in court on Friday

MARQUETTE — A Marquette man arrested following a methamphetamine bust on March 16th was sentenced in court today.

37 Year old Robert Nancarrow pleaded guilty to one count of possession of methamphetamine.

He was sentenced 180 days in jail with a credit for 126 days.

Attorney Karl Numinen represented Nancarrow in court, and said on his behalf that Nancarrow plans on checking himself into a rehabilitation program to deal with his substance abuse.

“I would like to continue to find some sort of treatment when I get out. I am regretful for everything that happened. I just made a terrible mistake, I want to turn my life around,” said Robert Nancarrow, Defendant.

Before this charge Nancarrows criminal history has been limited.
