Historical tour through Marquette lower harbor
MARQUETTE — Today the Marquette Regional History Center hosted a history walk tour of the docks in Marquette.
The event was lead by Jim Koski, radio personality and history enthusiast, who took history goers on the tour. Throughout the tour Jim brought old photographs and went over different historical facts about the towns docks.
This event brought locals and tourists together to learn more about the history of Marquette.
“So locals and tourists alike come to these types of programs to learn and be proud of where they are from,” said Executive Director of Marquette Regional History Center, Cris Osier.
More events that are similar to this will continue to happen throughout the summer at the history center.
