Bike Night for U.P. Hospice Foundation

GWINN — The Up North Lodge and their co-host 44North held an event today to help raise funds for The U.P. Hospice Foundation through the Bike Night event.

The event held a 50/50 raffle ticket and bucket raffles where people were able to buy tickets and try to win prizes throughout the night. The event really brings the community together to enjoy good food and help out a great cause.

The owners of the restaurant are very happy to promote and raise money these organizations so they can help give back to the community.

“We were raised to take care of each other and that’s what we do,” said Co-Owner of The Up North Lodge, Sally Searle. “This restaurant does a lot for the community and we are really heavily motivated to help the community. They have helped us in the past and so we have adopted the attitude and you just got to take care of each other.”

These events happen every Tuesday throughout the summer to help organizations out and help grow the community.
