Crivitz man dies in one-vehicle crash

BEAVER, WI — On July 3rd, 2018, ap approximately 2:43 P.M., Marinette County Dispatch received a call of a one-vehicle crash on 25th Road, approximately one mile north of St. Hwy 64 in Beaver.

a four-door sedan was traveling southbound on 25th when it left the road to the right, swerved and went off the road to the left, impacted a bridge abutment and flipped, landing upside down in the South Branch of Beaver Creek. Rescue and dive team members recovered the body from inside the vehicle. 42-year-old Cory Palmcook of Crivitz was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and the Marinette County Coroner. This is the third traffic fatality this year in Marinette County.
