Woman arrested for shipping prescription drugs
MARQUETTE — On Wednesday, June 27th, 38-year-old Paula Marie Heidtman of Skandia was arrested on a felony warrant for Controlled Substance-Delivery/Manufacture of Schedules 1, 2, and 3 drugs, punishable by up to seven years in prison.
The warrant was authorized by the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office in reference to an investigation conducted by the Marquette Police Department.
Heidtman allegedly attempted to send prescription drugs via the United Postal Service to a subject in another state.
Bond was set at ten percent of $10,000. Heidtman was unable to post bond at the time of the arrest and was lodged at the Marquette County Jail.
