Marquette Chamber of Commerce hosts business discussions

MARQUETTE — The Marquette Chamber of Commerce started a new panel discussion series tonight entitled, ‘If I Only Knew,’ at Ampersand Co-working.

The kickoff event this evening was a question and answer style presentation that tackled topics for new and experienced business owners, and offered insight on how a business owner might expand or scale their company. Four local business owners acted as panelists – businesses represented included the Marquette Food Co-op, Border Grill, UPAWS, and QuickTrophy.

“It’s all based around growing your business, and that is whether you’re hiring your 1st employee, your 50th – anything like that – you’ve got different pitfalls, pros, cons, and things to consider when considering all of that,” said Marquette Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Nick Steffey.

There will be more discussions hosted by the chamber – the sessions are held the last Tuesday of every month.
