MARQUETTE — After 25 years of business, the Animal Medical Center of Marquette is packing its bags and moving…right down the street. With over twice the amount of space to work with, the new facility will give the vets and the pets more space to work and play. The Animal Medical Center will be using the new “Fear Free” system, which gives pets a chance to feel more comfortable at the office.

“This big expansion we’re doing is because for 25 years, the community’s supported us and valued their pets, the type of medicine and surgery that we practice,” said Owner and Veterinarian Kellie Holmstrom. “Because of your support, we’re able to make this move, and we look forward to seeing you all here.”

There will also be separate entrances for cats and dogs, as well as a dog park. They will be hosting a grand opening to the public later this summer.

The clinic will be open for limited time this Thursday and Friday.
