Minor injuries after two-vehicle crash

MARQUETTE TWP. — On Saturday, June 16th at 12:45 P.M., Marquette County Sheriff’s office responded to US-41 and Brickyard Road by the Best Buy for a two-vehicle crash.

A 2005 Pontiac driven by Alyse Schaeffer of Negaunee was turning left onto N. Brickyard Rd. to gain access to the mini mart near Lowes. She turned in front of a 2014 Subaru driven by Jessica Poole of Ishpeming. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage. Seatbelts and Airbags reduced injuries to minor injuries. Schaeffer was cited for failing to yield to oncoming vehicles.
