MUNISING — With the traffic of Pictured Rocks Days, there are sure to be some motorcycle riders in the area.

This weekend, they’ll have a chance to grab some Munising memorabilia. Munising’s new Harley–Davidson has been open for business for a few weeks now. The store features many collectibles – from key chains to shirts – to give riders and motorbike enthusiasts a piece to remember the city.

The new location has been a blessing for the Upper Peninsula branches of the Harley Davidson company.

“We just want to thank the area for the warm welcoming they gave us to be a part of the community,” said Bald Eagle Harley-Davidson General Manager Jesse Zambon. “We’ve enjoyed being over there, spending time over there, and all of the local people stopping in to say hi and check things out. So that’s been really cool.”

The event this weekend, along with the Memorial Day holiday, has given the store plenty of business. That business is projected to increase with the summer months ahead.
