MARQUETTE — If you’re an avid cyclist, you may be a fan of trying new bikes every once in a while. This weekend provides a great opportunity to do so.

Quick Stop Bike Shop in Marquette is hosting a bicycle demo weekend with Trek Bicycles. Trek will be bringing their trailer full of the newest models. Some of the new models include the Full Stache, as well as the Fuel EX.

“It’s really good to experience a new bike, or a brand that you haven’t ridden before like a trek,” said Quick Stop Owner Erik Carlson. “It’s just a really neat way to run that same loop that you normally do on your other bike, or if you haven’t ridden a bike – say you haven’t ridden a full suspension bike before – it’s a great time to experience that and experience the difference.”

The first demo session will be at the Noquemanon South Trailhead in Marquette on Saturday, June 9th, from 3–8 P.M. The second will be Sunday, June 10th, at the Range Area Mountain Biking Association Trailhead in Ishpeming at 10 A.M.
