Missing juvenile located after overnight search
IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP — A missing juvenile was located following an overnight search in Ironwood Township.
The Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department responded to Sunset Road in Ironwood Township at 8:50 p.m. on report of a missing 15 year-old female. The juvenile was last seen at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Responding officers searched the area throughout the night. The missing female was eventually discovered walking on Sunset Road near Section 12 Road at 3:45 a.m. Thursday.
No more information has been released. The Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Michigan State Police, Michigan State Police K-9 Units, Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission, Gogebic County Search and Rescue and Ironwood Public Safety.
