Fundamentals of marketing presented in Marquette
MARQUETTE — Marketing is very important when trying to get your businesses going, and it can also be a challenge to implement into the community.
A Presentation by the Small Business Development Center was held at the Ampersand Co-working Space today. This presentation discussed market analysis research, competitive analysis as well product price, placement, and promotion.
This event helps small businesses and their owners learn new ways to help their businesses flourish within the community.
“It’s always good to come together and learn those fundamentals to bring back to your business and move forward,” said, Business Consultant, Nicole Young. “It’s always hard to put everything you’ve learned into practice, but even if you just put two or three items into practice you are going to be that much farther ahead. It’s going to be that much more beneficial and it could mean more money in your pocket if you just tweak a few things.”
The event ended with a chance to ask a certified small business consultant about marketing and ways to succeed in the world of marketing. There will be a few more presentations this month in Marquette and if you are unable to attend there is a webinar on their website.
