NEGAUNEE — Feeding America West Michigan Mobile Pantry will be visiting Negaunee High School on May 16th to distribute 15,000 pounds of food to people in need.

Registration begins at 4:00 p.m. on the 16th, and distribution will follow at 4:30 p.m. This is the 7th time the Mobile Pantry has visited the high school.

The Mobile Pantry will contain fresh produce, dairy products and baked goods with an emphasis on nutrition. Clients will not have to show identification or proof of income to receive food.

However, clients will be required to provide basic contact information and affirm that they are in need of food. They are encouraged to bring their own bags or boxes.

“We are enthused to host our 7th mobile Food Pantry with Feeding America on May 16th. It is a great opportunity for our students to be of service to the community and it is a much needed program that we are proud to be involved with,” said Mark Marana, Principal of Negaunee High School, in the press release.
