MARQUETTE — The Trillium House is one step closer to being finished. Even with all the other construction going on in the community, they are still right on track to open in July.

The Trillium House is still doing tours every Thursday at noon and 4:00 P.M. The tours are for anyone to come by and see the first Hospice House in Marquette.

They are still looking for volunteers, to help keep operating costs low. Anyone who can donate time to Trillium House will be much appreciated.

“When we had the social workers from the hospices come through. They were just recounting all of the folks that could have benefited if we had been open. That’s what we want to do is make sure were open for those people who need us at the end of life. We want to be here and its going to happen soon,” said Pat Bray, Executive Director of Trillium House.

All kitchen and laundry appliances were donated by Household Appliances in Marquette. Trillium House’s housewarming wish list will be released on their website on Friday.
