MARQUETTE — The Upper Peninsula’s only Harley Davidson will soon have a younger sibling.

The longtime motorcycle company will expand to Munising this summer. Memorial Day weekend, Cross–U.P. Riders will have a chance to grab some more U.P. pride.

The store will not sell bikes, only apparel and accessories. Some shirt backs, a trademark of Harley Davidson, will be unique to the city.

“The Munising shop’s going to primarily have t–shirts, sweatshirts, hats…having Munising around the lakeshore as well, gives them another reason to stop and enjoy what the U.P. has to offer and continue their trip around the lake,” said General Manager Jesse Zambon.

The new shop will host four to five employees. The opening event will be part of the Memorial Day Celebration.
