MARQUETTE — Students from the local high school are working on a charitable project through one of their clubs.

Marquette High School’s Interact club is hosting a competition within the high school to gather cans to donate to St. Vincent de Paul. These kids are setting the bar high to go out and help the community.

“We have a great group of kids who are always willing to help out. We have become a really close group. I’ve met a lot of people through the program and it’s really nice to see some high school’s students get involved in our community and do some good deeds, said, President of MSHS Interact Club, Lauren Kurzawa.

These deeds will benefit the community at large and this charitable work will not go unnoticed.
