Mostly sunny skies in the forecast for Sunday’s Run Your Heart Out 5K
MARQUETTE — How will you enjoy the sunny weather in the forecast for Sunday? The organizers of the Run Your Heart Out fun run think a 5K is the perfect answer to that question.
Queen City Running Company is hosting the 3.1-mile run on February 11th at 2:00 p.m. Racers will meet at the storefront and run on the bike path near Lower Harbor.
The $20 entry fee includes the race, merchandise and food and refreshments after the race. Since the race is just days before Valentine’s Day, you can bring a friend or significant other and run as a couple or be paired up on a “blind date.”
“What else are you doing on a Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock? There’s going to be a ton of people. I’m going to be wearing a tutu, we’re dressing up,” said Sloan Dorr, race organizer and ACE Certified Health Coach. “Join us and give it a try. Bring your friends, and get outside on Sunday.”
