UPDATE: Marquette woman arrested on drug charges following traffic stop

UPDATE — Thursday, January 4th, 2018 4:00 p.m.

Stephanie Dawn Ray, 34, was arraigned in Marquette County District Court on Thursday. She is charged with delivery/manufacture of cocaine, possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence and resisting arrest.

Ray is scheduled to appear in court for a probable cause hearing on January 17th.

MARQUETTE — A 34 year-old woman was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Marquette.

Officers from the Marquette City Police Department arrested Stephanie Dawn Ray of Marquette after a traffic stop on Grove Street near South McClellan Avenue on December 31st. During the traffic stop, suspected cocaine and marijuana were located in the vehicle.

Ray was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and tampering with evidence. The Marquette County Prosecutor authorized all of those charges.

The total bond on the warrants was set at 10 percent, or $32,500. Ray was unable to post bond and is lodged at the Marquette County Jail.
