ISHPEMING — Sometimes, the best way to bring the community together is to share a few laughs, as well as some craft beer. Cognition Brewing Company is preparing for a fun night this weekend.

Cognition’s second “Groundhog Day” will take place this Saturday. The event will feature Tony Saari playing guitar to open, followed by comedian Jay Harris, who headlined the first show back in February.

“We’re really excited to have Jay here in this small room, in the taproom for Cognition here, where it’s got a really good feel, where you’re really close to the crowd. I think it’s just going to be a lot of fun,” said owner Jay Clancey.

The bar has been involved in legal activities as of late, and Clancey has decided to take a break from all that, and entertain a community that’s been so good to him.

“There’s been so many questions, you know ‘what’s up with this and that?’ It’s time to just kick back and have a good laugh. I think we all need it,” he said.

Tickets are almost sold out, so if you plan on going, stop by Cognition before it’s too late.
