Donating toys to U.P. Home Health & Hospice could win you a new TV

ISHPEMING — Toy drives are common this time of year and one local organization is providing a new incentive to donate.

U.P. Home Health & Hospice is teaming up with the United States Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots. The organization has been participating in the toy drive since its inception and has collected thousands of toys over the years.

This year, donors can win a prize in addition to giving back to their community.

“If you bring in a $5, unwrapped gift, we will enter you in a drawing for a 48-inch television,” said Jennie Garrett-Bureau, executive director of U.P. Home Health & Hospice. “It’s always great to give back to the community.”

The number of entries per person are unlimited, so you can donate as much as you would like. Toys must be dropped off at either the Marquette or Ishpeming location by December 13th.
