Deputies donate “No Shave November” proceeds to Love INC
ST. IGNACE — It’s December 1st and that means that “No Shave November” participants can finally shave again.
Each year, deputies from the Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office donate $25 to grow a beard for the month of November and then donate the proceeds to a local organization. This year, the deputies chose to donate the money to Love INC of West Mackinac for continuously supporting the community.
On Thursday, Deputy Chase Arnold and Deputy Joseph Larson of the Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office presented Assistant Director Sharon Kingren and the staff of Love INC of West Mackinac with a $400 donation.
Last year, the proceeds went to the Hope Chest of St. Ignace.
