NEGAUNEE — Usually, Saturdays are for college football, but there are plenty of ways to have an entertaining weekend. Jo-Kay corral was packed on Saturday for the final experience the farm event of the year.

It was one last chance for families to get out and take in the autumn season at the corral. There was no shortage of entertainment.

“It was a great turnout, lots of kids; they enjoy the apple cider, and all the critters, so lots of hayrides going on today,” said owner Jodi McIlhany.

The Jo–Kay Corral seems to be a fan–favorite, week in and week out, for children and adults alike.

“Nice thing to do as a family one last time before the snow falls. People have been positive and it’s been great,” said McIlhany.

When one season ends, another begins, and planning has already begun for next year at the corral.
