MARQUETTE — The Peter White Public Library is now accepting tree and wreath registrations for its 2017 Winter Wonderland Walk. Trees and wreaths will be on display during the month of December in the Huron Mountain Club Gallery. Individuals or groups are welcome to sign up, and have plenty of options for decorations.

“What type of tree you would like, what size, you know whether you have ornaments to go all around, whether you would like it lit,” said Library Programming Coordinator Carolyn McManis.

The week before our holiday open house, everyone can come in and decorate them.”

You can decorate your tree to represent your organization or yourself. People come from all over the Upper Peninsula to see the trees.

“It’s a really fun time, it’s an opportunity to get into the holiday spirit, to work with other people and creating a theme–type tree, and to have a little fun,” said McManis.

Registration closes November seventeenth. You can register at the circulation desk or online at www.pwpl.info.
