L’ANSE — If you missed out on Marquette beer fest last month, there’s no need to worry. This Saturday will provide plenty of chances to try craft beers.

The second annual Baraga Beer Fest will be held at the L’Anse Waterfront Park this Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is one of the prettier settings for a day spent drinking beer.

“You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful sight, we should have pretty fall colors, so you’re standing in the waterfront park looking out over Keweenaw Bay, looking out over the other side, looking at the color, It’s a nice way to spend an afternoon,” said President of the Baraga County Chamber of Commerce Debbie Stouffer.

There will be food, music, and even karaoke. And although rain is on the radar, it is expected that they will have a bigger crowd than last year.

“It is a rain or shine event, and you can drink beer no matter the weather, so it’s an opportunity to come and see what Baraga County is all about, to see our setting, and then hopefully come back and enjoy what else we have to share,” said Stouffer.

Tickets can be purchased online or the day of at the event. And remember-bring a rain jacket.
