MARQUETTE — Flying, fighting, and even some writing, there are so many things girls can achieve before their twentieth birthday. Which is exactly what the “Great Girls in Michigan History” exhibit at the Marquette Regional History Center aims to do.

With artifacts in tow, visitors will be able to read the stories of Michigan Hall of Fame girls, starring two from the U.P.

There will be women represented who have flown, written stories, won pro–tournaments and more all before the age of twenty.

“It is a travelling exhibit from the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame down in Lansing and is a partnership with the Zonta Organization who sponsored this to come up here so we can celebrate girls and unusual professions,” said Chris of the History Center.

The exhibit opened last week and will continue until October 18th as a part of general admission.
