MARQUETTE — Commuters going through Marquette will have another road closure to maneuver through this week.
Beginning at 7:00 a.m. Monday, Oberstar, Inc. will be removing and replacing sections of curb between Hewitt Avenue and Prospect Street on the 700 block of North Front Street. This work is the prerequisite for the milling/overlaying for this street. The work will be done with a road closure between Hewitt Avenue and Prospect Street. The public is urged to use extreme caution and follow all warning signs, detour signs, and other traffic control measures. The work is expected to be completed on August 29th. The street will be open for the overnight hours.
Then at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, sections of curb will be removed and replaced between Prospect Street and Crescent Street on the 800 block of North Front Street. The work is expected to be completed on August 31st. The street will be open for the overnight hours.
