UPAWS holding free adoption event

NEGAUNEE — The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter and Fox Motors are teaming up once again to bring a free adoption event to the area.

Find a Friend with Fox has been an annual tradition, going on for around nine years. All adoption fees are completely covered by Fox Motors.
UPAWS will be bringing animals that are in need of a home and anyone interested, can stop by to meet a new furry friend.

“Fox Motors pays 100% of the adoptions that day for our animals. It’s an amazing event, if you are looking for a new furry or feathered friend, please come down to Fox Motors on Wednesday, August 23rd,” said the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter Community Outreach Coordinator, Ann Brownell.

Dogs aren’t the only animals that will be available at this event. The event runs from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M. at the Fox Motors location in Marquette. Anyone from the community who is interested in giving an animal a loving home is more than invited to attend the event.
