Modeltowners football earn sponsorship from Rockin’ Refuel
GWINN — Big news for the Modeltowners football team as they announced this week that they will be sponsored by the Rockin’ Refuel Protein Drink.
The milk–based beverage is made by the company Shamrock Farms. The deal is the first of its kind in the U.P. and will be a huge plus for the Modeltowners football team.
“It look a little work, but we have what I call a U.P. connection. There are some guys that are always from the U.P. It just so happens that the national sales manager for Shamrock Farms with the Rockin’ Refuel division is from Stephenson originally. Through a little bit of networking, we worked it out. They are very happy to provide us with their energy drink, which is a super energy drink,” said Gwinn athletics supporter Bob Taylor.
The drink come in three different flavors: vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. They contain 30 grams of protein and just 190 calories.
