MARQUETTE — An Ewen man was arrested on multiple drug charges and for possessing a stolen handgun.

On Thursday, detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team arrested Wayne Langston, 41, of Ewen on charges of possession with intent to distribute crystal meth and heroin, along with possession of a handgun.

Detectives seized a large amount of crystal meth and heroin from Langston that had a street value of over $70,000. Langston was lodged at the Ontonagon County Jail and was arraigned in district court.

UPSET was assisted by the Michigan State Police, agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Postal Service, and GIANT Detectives.
