Man identified from recent police chase
PALMER — The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the man who took police on a brief pursuit on May 3rd.
Dustin Ronald Kangas, 25, is facing charges of third degree fleeing and eluding from police, assault of a police officer causing injury and a misdemeanor count of reckless driving.
He was arraigned in district court Monday. Bond has been set at $10,000 ($5,000 for each felony count).
On May 3rd, Kangas led police on a pursuit on M-553, County Road 480 and M-35. Kangas punched a deputy after he pulled into his driveway in Palmer.
His preliminary exam is set for May 30th.
