Polfus beats the buzzer, sends Jets to the state championship game

EAST LANSING — In one of the greatest high school basketball games in state history, North Central held on to beat Southfield Christian 84-83 in double overtime. Jets point guard Seth Polfus scored the game-winning lay up with no time left on the clock to send North Central to their third straight title game.

Jason Whitens led the Jets with 31 points and 10 rebounds. Dawson Bilski chipped in with 23 points and 12 boards. Bobby Kleiman helped the cause as well with 14 of his own points.
