Alleged horse shooter arraigned on three felony counts

CRYSTAL FALLS — A Crystal Falls man is facing three felony charges after he allegedly shot a horse last week in Crystal Falls Township.

Luke Wool, 19, faces two counts of killing/torturing animals and another count of discharging a weapon in or at a building. Wool was arrested by the Iron County Sheriff’s Office after their investigation revealed he shot a horse and at a residence.

The horse did survive the shooting. Authorities believe Wool is behind another shooting of a deceased horse.

Wool is due back in court for a preliminary exam on April 10th.
