Portage Township man has been found
UPDATE– The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office has located the 22-year-old Portage Township man.
Tuesday night Joshua Patrick Abbott was found safely at a residence in Houghton.
PORTAGE TOWNSHIP — The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.
Joshua Patrick Abbott, 22, of Portage Township, was last seen Monday, March 13, around 9 p.m walking away from a mental health facility.
He was dressed in black Nike pants adorned with two stripes on the side, a black t-shirt with white sleeves and a black vest. Abbott is described as a 6′ tall, white male, around 145 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
He may be traveling to the Lower Peninsula with another male in a dark-colored Toyota pick-up truck. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, you are urged to contact the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office at (906) 482-0055.
