Man sentenced to prison for possessing child pornography
CHIPPEWA COUNTY — A Drummond Island man originally charged with twenty–one felonies, including ten counts of possession of child pornography was sentenced Tuesday in Chippewa County Circuit Court.
Robert Henning, 67, was sentenced to five and a half to seven years in prison for ten counts related to possession of child pornography and ten counts of using a computer to commit a crime. On September 17th of 2015, Drummond was arrested after a lengthy investigation by the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office.
Forensic examination of hard drives and computers seized by deputies allegedly uncovered thousands of images and videos of child pornography.
