One man dead following three-vehicle accident
BEECHER, WIS. — One man is dead following a fatal car accident yesterday afternoon in Marinette County.
According to the Marinette County Sheriff, Jerry Sauve, deputies responded to a report of a serious three-car accident just after 3:30 pm on US-141 near Jossart Road in Beecher, WI.
A northbound pick-up truck crossed the center line and hit a southbound sedan and then a southbound pick-up truck.
The driver of the sedan, an 81-year old Green Bay man, was extricated from his vehicle, but succumbed to his injuries on route to the hospital. The 67-year old man from Goodman, Wisconsin who caused the accident, was treated for his injuries at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. The driver of the southbound pick-up truck was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
