Truck fire damages three vehicles

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP — A pickup truck is considered to be a total loss after a vehicle fire early Thursday afternoon in Chocolay Township.

Firefighters were called to the 600 of Willow Drive shortly after 12:15 p.m. When they arrived, they found a silver Dodge Ram fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames in a matter of minutes. A car and other truck parked next to the Dodge Ram suffered some moderate damage as a result of the fire.

No one was in the truck when the fire started. No injuries were reported.

There’s no word on what caused the pickup to catch on fire.
