Conference on government regulation at Northern Michigan University

MARQUETTE — Northern Michigan University held a conference today, aimed at the issue of government regulations

Michael Van Beek came to the university to present “Overregulation: The Hidden Costs of Government” at Mead Auditorium. The talk covered what too much government interference could do to the economy and difference between effective and non–effective regulation.

This presentation was part of the Your Wealth lecture series, which is sponsored by the Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship, Economics Student Association and the Center for Student Enrichment.
