Heroin suspect arraigned in district court
HOUGHTON — The second of two men arrested in a drug bust on Monday in Atlantic Mine was arraigned Friday morning in Houghton County District Court.
Kevin Michael Anderson, 28, was formerly charged with possession of cocaine, heroin or other narcotic under 25 grams, a felony punishable by up to four years in prison.
Anderson and Anthony Vancato, 52, were arrested on Monday by UPSET detectives after they were found in possession of crystal meth and heroin.
Anderson will be back in court for a probable cause conference on September 16.
