MARQUETTE — A Marquette man arrested in connection to a break-in at the Vandenboom School in was given his sentence in Marquette County District Court Thursday morning.

Jeffery Fisk, 36, was given a year of probation. He will serve no jail time up-front, but he does have 93 days remaining if he were to violate the terms of his probation.

Fisk pleaded no contest to malicious destruction of a building in June. He was arrested in April after police say he was found in possession of burglary tools near an open window at the school during their investigation of the reported break-in.
