Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 8/17-18

Shunk-Grey

We saw plenty of sunshine on Wednesday, which helped to produce another warm afternoon. Tonight, the muggy conditions hang around, as any isolated rain and clouds leave. Lows will drop between the low to mid-60s, while winds calm.

Thursday, mostly sunny skies look to dominate the afternoon, with a hotter air mass taking more control. Highs will top off in the mid and upper-80s, while southwest winds blow at 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Tomorrow night brings more of the clouds back to the region, as showers and storms arrive late. Low temps will fall to the mid and upper-60s, while winds shift out of the south at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Friday is expected to be a wet end to the work week, with rain falling throughout the day.
