MARQUETTE — A campaign to put an end to domestic violence and sexual assault wrapped up this evening.

The 100 Good Men campaign was born from the belief that men play a major role in the movement to end violence against women. Today, members of the campaign met for a wrap-up event at the Ore Dock Brewery.

Program member, Jim Cantrill, said, “It’s just a big thank you to those who are here and to the entire community for the support that we have. Especially from the police department, especially from the prosecutor’s office from both the Harbor House and the Women’s Center.”

Close to 200 men contributed $100 or more to the women’s center. The money goes toward support services that keep families safe, empower individuals, and educate the community.
