Woman arrested on several drug related charges
MANISTIQUE — A woman was arrested on multiple drug related charges yesterday.
Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) say they completed a several-month long investigation when they executed a search warrant at a residence in Manistique.
Detectives seized over one ounce of crack cocaine, marijuana and cash related to the sale of narcotics.
The female subject was lodged at the Schoolcraft County Jail on several felony charges including delivery of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver over 25 grams of cocaine and maintaining a drug house within 500 feet of a school zone.
Her name is being withheld pending arraignment.
