UPDATE — 4:15 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 (EDT) — The Florence County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Nancy Kathleen Renkas.

Last seen on July 18, Renkas, was visiting a relative in Iron Mountain. She left that relative’s home at about 1:30 p.m. on July 18, and said she was going to stop in Menominee, Mich., to look at a camping trailer.

Her vehicle was found the next day, July 19, in the parking lot of Super One Foods in Iron Mountain.

Renkas is a 47-year-old white woman, 5’4″, 200 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Renkas was last seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt and jeans.

Authorities say Renkas traveled to Illinois in the past, but she has made no contact with family members and investigators have no leads on where she might be.

FLORENCE, Wisc. — The Florence Wisconsin Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a missing person.

Nancy Renkas was last seen by family on Monday, July 18th at 1:30 p.m. (CST). Police say Renkas had mentioned going to Pembine, WI and Menominee, MI.

Her vehicle was located parked in the Super One parking lot in Iron Mtn., MI. Renkas’ phone is not working.
