Power outage planned for repairs

ESCANABA — Electrical customers in the City of Escanaba can expect a planned power outage Tuesday morning.

City Electrical Department officials say crews will be repairing some bad underground lines in the Ford River area starting around 9:30 a.m. The repair requires crews to cut power to customers on both sides of M-35 starting at Breezy Point and continuing south to Ford River.

Officials say the outage will last for about four hours. The outage will happen only if weather permits.
