ONTONAGON — Two people were injured after an Ontonagon man blacked out while driving.

Just after 4:15 p.m. Monday, the Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for an accident on M-26 near M-38. The driver, Stanley Domitrovich of Ontonagon, blacked out while driving causing him to cross the center line and go airborne into a ditch.

Domitrovich’s wife, Nancy was in the car during the accident. Both passengers were transported to Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

Michigan State Police assisted at the scene and the vehicle was removed from the ditch by Big Valley Ford of Ewen.
