Domestic violence suspect sentenced to jail term
IRON MOUNTAIN — An Iron Mountain man arrested after a domestic dispute is headed to jail.
Thirty year-old Joshua D’Amico will spend nine months behind bars with credit for time served. D’Amico was arrested by the Iron Mountain Police Department in April after an investigation into a reported domestic assault.
He pleaded guilty in May to one misdemeanor count of domestic violence. A felony strangulation count was dropped as a result of the plea agreement.
D’Amico also received 18 months probation.
