BARAGA — A Wisconsin man currently serving 20 to 40 years in prison on several charges, including armed robbery, will be back in court next month for a hearing regarding his possible re–sentencing.

Forty–nine year old Bernard Fish was sentenced in Baraga County Circuit Court in 2014.

Earlier this year, an opinion by the Michigan Court of Appeals revealed that Fish’s original sentence could be altered due to a recent Supreme Court decision that rendered Michigan’s sentencing guidelines advisory.

Fish is expected to be in court for that hearing on July 19th.

He was arrested after a home invasion in Watton back in 2013.
