Road Closure in Marquette

MARQUETTE — Starting today, drivers in the City of Marquette will have to maneuver around a construction project.

Spring Street between Third Street and Fourth Street in Marquette is closed for reconstruction. This construction is the first phase in a two–phase project. This first phase is scheduled to be complete by the end of July.

The Third Street entrance will be open to traffic but narrowed for construction work, while the Fourth Street and Spring Street intersection will be closed throughout the project. The public is advised to use caution when traveling to the area.
Pedestrians are also advised to use alternative routes to access adjacent buildings.
