UPDATE: Man identified in marijuana arrest

The man arrested on the lone marijuana charge in Delta County has been identified as 40-year-old Adam Scheeringa of Nahma.
He’s due back in court for a preliminary exam on June 7th.

GLADSTONE — A Nahma Township man is sitting in jail after police found over a pound and a half of Marijuana in his vehicle.
Gladstone Public Safety officers say they conducted the traffic stop with the Delta County Sheriff Department on US-2 in Gladstone just before 11 p.m. last night.
The man was arrested and charged with possession of Marijuana with intent to deliver. He is currently lodged at the Delta County Sheriff Department.
The Escanaba Public Safety drug canine assisted at the scene.
