Woman arrested for cocaine
MARQUETTE — An investigation by police has resulted in the arrest of a Marquette woman on a cocaine charge.
Detectives from the Marquette Police Department say Stephanie Bryan, 29, was arrested on a warrant for possession of between 25 and 49 grams of cocaine. That charge is a felony carrying a maximum penalty of four years in prison.
The arrest stems from an earlier investigation undertaken by Marquette Police. Bryan is jailed on a bond of 10 percent of $20,000. She is scheduled to appear for a preliminary exam in Marquette County District Court on June 21st.
The Negaunee City Police Department assisted in the arrest.
